TuroTruth (“we,” “our,” or “the Service”) is a financial scenario estimation tool designed to help Turo hosts model potential earnings. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We take your privacy seriously and operate with minimal data collection.
When you run a deal scenario, you enter vehicle and financial details (make/model, purchase price, interest rate, daily rate, etc.). This information is used solely to compute the scenario estimates shown to you and is not linked to your identity unless you create an account (not currently available).
If you click “Save & Share,” your scenario inputs and results are stored on our servers with a randomly generated link. This data is accessible to anyone with the link. Do not include personally identifiable financial information you would not want shared publicly.
We store a list of your saved scenario slugs in your browser's localStorage so you can access them from “My Saved Deal Scenarios.” This data never leaves your device.
We may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps) for the purposes of security, debugging, and aggregate analytics. We do not sell or share this data with third-party advertisers.
Pro plan payments are processed by LemonSqueezy. We do not receive or store your full credit card details. LemonSqueezy's privacy policy governs payment data handling.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
TuroTruth uses minimal cookies — primarily session cookies required for the Service to function and localStorage for saving scenario slugs. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If you use an ad-blocker, the Service will still work correctly.
Shared deal scenario data stored on our servers is retained for up to 7 days from creation, after which it is automatically deleted. During the MVP phase, data is held in an in-memory store and is lost upon server restart. We do not store deal input data beyond this window.

TuroTruth is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to avoid entering highly sensitive financial details that you would not want exposed via a shared link.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because TuroTruth does not require account creation, the primary personal data we hold is deal scenario content linked to a random slug. You may request deletion of a specific shared deal by contacting us with the slug URL.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
